Michele, or Shelly, is a Certified Nurse Practitioner. Shelly obtained her nursing degree and her Nurse Practitioner degree from Kennesaw State University, where she continues to teach undergraduate nursing students. Prior to entering the nursing field, Shelly worked in research and has findings published in the Journal of Addiction Medicine.
While completing her master's degree, she found a new passion in the field of Obesity Medicine. She prides herself on focusing on the individual needs of her patients and developing goal focused plans.
Outside of work, she enjoys running, reading, and spending time at the baseball field with her husband and son.
